No-Churn Coffee Ice Cream

One simple step. No fussing or fancy machinery required. No wonder we are huge fans of this recipe.

Coffee ice cream is the ideal way for any caffeine lover to get their fix in the warmer weather, and pairs well with chocolate desserts, waffles, or other ice cream flavours such as banana, vanilla and honeycomb.

You can also try adding other ingredients, such as chocolate chips or swirls, nuts, cinnamon or caramel.



  • 300ml/10fl oz double cream
  • 175g/6oz condensed milk
  • 40ml strong black coffee, cooled
  • 2 tbsp espresso powder


  1. Whisk all of the ingredients together until soft peaks start to form. The mixture should be airy.
  2. Fill an airtight freezer-safe container and freeze overnight.


Prepare well in advance if making for an event. It needs time to freeze!

You can use ordinary instant coffee but ensure it is made very strong
